Sagada, part of Cordillera Administrative Region (CAR), is a 12 hour non-stop, no-traffic drive from Manila up north of Luzon. It is one of the most secluded but well visited destination in the Cordilleras. Because of its well preserve culture,  maintained mountainous natural environment and bone chilling climate, it is a popular place for city dwellers and adventure seekers. Aside from the many things to do in this ancient land like caving, and trekking, having the Lemon Pie at "Sagada Lemon Pie House" is one of the must.

This delicacy is only offered to the public in 2008 by the Daoas family. It exponentially gained fans  and gradually became popular to the visiting lowlanders and foreigners.

Its fresh, sweet and tangy taste is a very unique flavor compared to pies we know in the city. Good for light breakfast or merienda and best be paired with Sagada's own freshly brewed Civet coffee.

Located in Atey, Daoangan, Sagada or you can just ask anybody in town and they'll tell you where it is. For only 25php per slice or 180php whole pan, you'll get more than your money's worth. Remember to bring some home for pasalubong!
